About Safbob Funeral Arrangements

Saf-Bob are available to the public 24/7.
We collect corpses all over the country and make the following arrangements: Death certificates; New graves or re-openings of graves and cremations; We can also do arrangements at home if the client prefers to do it at home; We design the funeral letters for church; We arrange for the flowers on the coffin and in the church; We see to it that everything is ready at the church. If you don't have a church we can also get a church and a preacher; We have a wide range of coffins and tombstones to choose from; Saf-Bob also sell policies that is underwritten by Sanlam, the client can join up to the age of 83 (debit order) or 94 (easy pay).
We collect corpses all over the country and make the following arrangements: Contact the doctor immediately when your loved one passed away at home. In case it was unnatural causes you have to contact the SAPS as well. You have to contact the undertaker, no matter what time of the day or night, to make arrangements for them to collect the deceased from where he passed. NB make sure you choose the undertaker of your choice to avoid extra charges when they have to collect the corpse at another funeral home. The following documents must be ready to make arrangements; o Id document of the deceased and the informant; o The policy of the deceased from any institution must be taken with. We will put in the claim or help you with the claim. o In case of a cremation you must complete a schedule A form; o The family will pay for the schedule B form that must be completed by the doctor for consent for cremation and the cost will be between R150 to R250.
Cremation The family, hospital or old age home have to contact us to collect the corpse; We contact the family for the arrangements for the cremation service, where they can decide to do the arrangements from our office or in the comfort of their own home.
The following information are needed: Id document of the deceased and the informer; Any policies of the deceased at any institution. We will put in the claim or help the family with the claim. The family can choose the coffin of their choice or they can use the coffin that are included in the price advertised; The place, date and time where the service will be held at must be given; The preacher,organist and church contact details must be given; We can arrange for a church/chapel, preacher and organist if the family request it; The details that the family want to put on the funeral letter, have to be completed on the right form; The clothes that the corpse must be dressed in; The flowers that must be used on the coffin will be flowers in season; The family have to complete the schedule A form to give consent for cremation; The family have to pay the doctor for the schedule B form that he have to complete for consent for cremation.
Quiet Cremation This is how a quiet cremation works: We collect the corpse from the hospital, home or old age home; The family arrange their own  mourning service; There won't be a coffin in the church We arrange the documents for the cremation and after the cremation we bring the ashes back to the family; If the family doesn't want the ashes, they can make a statement under oath that we can scatter the ashes in a appropriate area.
Burial service It will be the same information that are needed as for the cremation except for some additional information that are also needed: The place where the burial will take place; If it is a re-opening of a grave, the family must give us the grave number so that we can arrange for the opening of the grave and if there is a tombstone on the grave so that someone can remove the tombstone (at additional cost
Cemetery Service This service is the same as above mentioned except that the service will be held at the cemetery; The service will be held directly at the grave; We put up the tent and bring + 20 chairs; We arrange for the priest in case it is necessary
Funeral Contract In case you want to make sure that your funeral or cremation is paid in full before hand, you can contact us for a contract. The contract will be linked to inflation and will be reviewed yearly to make sure that it is up to date.
